About the Role:
Goffena Furniture, Inc. is looking for a motivated and organized Warehouse Manager/Customer Service professional to join our team in Sidney, OH. This dual-role position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves working with people, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. If you're a hands-on leader with a passion for delivering great customer experiences, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain a clean, bright and efficient warehouse
- Receive, inspect and process incoming freight
- Assemble furniture and assist with moving heavy merchandise
- Coordinate and manage delivery personnel
- Answer customer calls and provide friendly professional service
- Diagnose furniture concerns and determine repair needs
- Order, receive and track replacement parts
- Schedule and complete furniture repairs
What we are looking for:
- Able to safely lift and move heavy furniture
- Have a clean driving record
- Self motivated, organized and dependable
- Comfortable working with customers and staff
- Strong communications and problem-solving skills
- Willing to learn, on the job training is provided
- Furniture, warehouse, delivery or repair experience is helpful but not required

Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Goffena History
In 1942, Goffena Furniture and Mattress Store’s story began! Marcel Goffena started the business out of his home over 80 years ago and never looked back. He ended up moving to an old, historic three-story building in downtown Sidney. Marcel’s son, Mike, started working there and continued selling quality furniture to the people of Shelby county. The family-owned company continued when Mike brought in his son, Matt. By 1997, Goffena was expanded when a new 32,500 square foot store on St. Rt. 47 was built. As the store and business grew, the family knew the showroom needed to as well. In 2017, the entire store was remodeled, inside and out. Matt, Goffena’s current owner, brought in his sons, Drew and Evan, who now represent the 4th generation to work at Goffena Furniture and Mattress Store.
